BPCL Signs Landmark Crude Oil Supply Deal with Petrobras

Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has secured a pivotal term contract with Petrobras, Brazil’s state-owned oil giant, for the supply of Brazilian crude oil. The agreement was formalized by Shri Manoj Heda, Executive Director of International Trade & Risk Management at BPCL, and Claudio Romeo Schlosser, Director and Chief Logistics, Commercialization & Markets Officer at Petrobras. The signing ceremony took place in the presence of key figures, including Shri Hardeep Singh Puri, the Hon’ble Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas for the Government of India, BPCL Chairman and Managing Director Shri G. Krishnakumar, Director of Finance at BPCL Shri Vetsa Ramakrishna Gupta, and Petrobras President Ms. Magda Chambriard, along with senior Petrobras officials.

This historic contract marks a significant step in enhancing India’s energy security, broadening BPCL’s crude oil supply sources, and fostering stronger bilateral relations between India and Brazil.
